Writing reports & articles

In CWEA, publications are used to share information about the wastewater profession, activities of interest to the wastewater community, and the activities of the Association as a whole. Being in charge of a writing or reviewing a publication or article is a great position of power and responsibility. Everything you write and distribute reflects on people's impressions CWEA and the wastewater profession.

Committee chairs are required to submit the following to the Board each year:

Committee Chair Appointment Request Form - by March 1st
Annual Work Plan & Budget - by April 30th
Quarterly Activity Reports to the Board
You can use this form or your own which provides an update on progress on your annual work plan/committee activities, changes or updates to your committee officers or projects, and an action request if necessary. Due dates for quarterly activity reports in 2009-2010 are:
~ June 1, 2010 (for June 2010 Board Meeting)
~ August 26, 2010 (for September 2010 Board Meeting)
~ January 7, 2011 (for January 2011 Board Meeting)
~ April 1, 2011 (for April 2011 Board Meeting)
~ June 1, 2011 (for June 2011 Board Meeting)
