The December SFBS dinner meeting will be a special "Family Night" held on December 1, 2011 at the Courtyard Marriott – Bay Street in Emeryville. Doug Nolan of Rock Steady Juggling will be entertaining everyone with a wastewater education and F.O.G. prevention spectacular! "Go With the Flow" is an educational, interactive, and thoroughly enjoyable water program for all ages!! Using juggling virtuosity, magic and comedy, Doug dazzles the audience while teaching them about the importance of keeping our water clean. Timely topics include wastewater treatment, being mercury free and the many ways to keep fats, oils and grease (FOG) out of household drains. Doug informs the audience about the problems with FOG down the drain as he
flirts with disaster by juggling a whole turkey, a skillet with fried

- It’s time for the Bay Section Board of Directors election. This year, we have two open Board
positions - Second-Year Director and Treasurer. The Second-Year Director automatically
progresses through the Board positions, eventually becoming SFBS President in 2015. The
Treasurer is a one year position with the option to run for re-election each year. One candidate was nominated for Second-Year Director and one candidate was nominated for Treasurer. All CWEA members are encouraged to cast their vote. Please return your completed ballot to Polly Villarreal at pvillarr@ebmud.com, by no later than December 2, 2011.
