Local News:

On September 7, 2011, the CSC hosted a Regulatory Compliance workshop that included speakers from CSRMA, SWRCB and BACWA. There were approximately 75 people in attendance and the workshop was well received.  There was some great information presented to attendees on new State programs, how BACW helps collection system agencies and CSRMA delivered information on how SSO’s impact private property.

The Committee will be presenting an Engineering 202 workshop on November 2, 2011, at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. This workshop has been designed to further educate collection system workers of the importance of integrating their operations with engineering and how the two work together to create a high performing collection system. Please see flyer for more information.

On December 7, 2011, we will be holding our annual planning meeting. If there are any topics related to training that you would like for us to consider, please submit them to the committee at Elliott@cvsan.org by December 1, 2011.
