Last Training Session
We delivered a Collections System Boot Camp on 3/11/09 which marked our 46th event.
The Boot Camp was a huge success. The course materials contained a broad of range of topics for people new to the sewer collections trade. Topics included: hydroflushing best practices, rodding, CCTV Inspection best practices, safety and a whole host of other information. Vendors were on hand to demonstrate some of the equipment used in our industry.
The Boot Camp was conducted at the City of San Leandro’s Community Center and had over 120 students attend!

Annual SFBS Collection System Committee Golf Tournament at Monarch Bay on July the 24th. Contact Walt Lunn at (510) 524- 4668 if you are interested in sponsoring a hole.

At the SFBS Annual Awards Dinner held in January, Tom Herlihy of the Union Sanitary District was presented the Andy Stamatelos Service Award. Also, the Stege Sanitary District received the Collection System of the Year Award in the Small System category.
