A new position has been added to our Job Classified.
- 2014 SFBS Board Election - As we approach the end of the year, it is time to look forward to 2014 and elect new members to your CWEA, San Francisco Bay Section Board of Directors. One newly elected Board member will serve for five years starting as 2nd Year Director in 2014 (the 1st year on the board), and then this person progresses through a total of five years on the Board. An additional Board member is elected each year to serve as the section Treasurer. The Treasurer normally serves multiple years, but this person must be selected or re‐elected each year. Candidates were nominated at our regular Bay Section meeting on November 7, 2013. Please take a few moments to read the about the 2014 candidates, and return your completed ballot by mail to Tom Hendrey (WBA, 1777 N. California Blvd, Suite 200, Walnut Creek CA 94596), fax (925‐945‐7515), or email to email@example.com. Completed ballots must be received or postmarked by December 5, 2013.
- Select Award Nomination Categories Extended - At their board meeting on November 7, 2013, the San Francisco Bay Section (SFBS) Board agreed to extend the deadline for certain SFBS recognition award nominations. The Board felt it was important to encourage our members to recognize individuals in our section of CWEA for their excellent work in 2013. Therefore, the Board agreed to extend the due date for award nominations for the awards listed below until Friday, November 15, 2013 at 5 pm.
