 EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR GRADE III

 Under direction from the Operations Supervisor, is responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of an activated sludge wastewater treatment and reclamation facility in compliance with state regulatory agency requirements.  Performs a variety of skilled technical duties, including laboratory analysis, facility maintenance, and process control decisions.

            Salary Range $29.60 – 37.78 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as a grade III wastewater treatment plant operator, ability to operate and maintain a full range of equipment commonly found in wastewater treatment plants; knowledge of methods of treatment processes used in a grade IV treatment plant. Possession of a Grade III Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate issued by the CA. Water Resources Control Board.  Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License with a satisfactory Driving Record. Possession of a CWEA Laboratory Technologist Grade I, is highly desirable.
