Mark Vermeer

Mark worked at NAPA auto parts for 15 years before joining the district. He started at the district in 2001 as a mechanic where he served as a mechanic, facilities repair, and gardener. In 2015 the department he worked in was outsourced and he went to work in the construction and maintenance department where he obtained his distribution grade 1. In 2017 he was offered the job of OIT in the waste water department and he is now a grade 1 operator and grade 1 collections. He is learning every day and teaching the other more experienced operators about mechanics as well.
