Rudy Soria

Rudy Soria is a Water Utility Technician III at Jurupa Community Services District, responsible for monitoring and reporting the conditions of JCSD’s sewer system with CCTV equipment and maintaining lift stations.

Rudy’s innovative solutions and over twenty years of experience are pivotal in JCSD’s preventative maintenance programs. Rudy successfully invented a gauge attachment used in sewer pipe inspections, resulting in cost-saving solutions for JCSD. In a collaborative effort, he supports other departments when analyzing newly built and effluent pipe assessments and cross-training staff.

JCSD celebrated a record achievement of five years with no SSOs in October 2022. With his monitoring and system contributions, this will be Rudy’s victory as much as JCSD’s.
